R.D.M. ENTERPRISES CO. INC. was established in January 1987 as an automotive stamping manufacturer. In 1990, we extended that business to include non-automotive stampings, which has grown to include conveyor chain components, military stampings, agricultural processing components, and pizza pans.
Our strategically located facility is designed to handle multiple projects. Our disciplines include Engineering Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Assembly. We are responsible for stamping quality, reducing scrap and rework, as well as, improving manufacturing repeatability.
COMPANY/OWNER HISTORY
From 1965-1969 Al was a Tool & Die Apprentice for Balk Tool & Die Company. He was designing tools for the manufacturing of automotive stampings.
From 1969-1979 Al worked for Automotive Molding Company. From 1969 – 1972 he was the foreman over the automotive stamping and roll forming departments. In 1972 he became the Assistant Plant Manger. In 1975 he became Plant Manger. During this time he developed three pre-notching lines for Automotive Molding Company.
From 1979 – 1984 Al worked for St. Clair Metal Products. He was the Tool Room Foreman in charge of ten die maters. He maintained and build end forms, deep draw dies and co-extrusion lines.
In 1984, Al ventured out on his own as a die consultant for automotive stampings for Masco-Tech Company. Three years were spent working on developing the Chrysler A-Body line. This consisted of co-extrusions, pre-notching, and end form treatments.
In 1987, Al Opened R.D.M. Enterprises Company, Inc. building dies and manufacturing metal brackets for army tanks.
In 1993, R.D.M. moved its operations to an 11,000 square foot building in Port Huron, MI.
In 1994, R.D.M. expanded its stamping line to include manufacturing of conveyor components to serve the automotive and food industries.
In 2003, R.D.M. Enterprises was ISO 9001-2000 certified. R.D.M. maintains compliance to the ISO 9001-2000 standards.
In 2012, R.D.M. began supplying deep dish pizza pans to Jet’s Pizza. R.D.M. now supplies all of Jet’s Pizza’s deep dish pans.
As of today, R.D.M. Enterprises is one of the major producers of conveyor attachments and components in the United States. R.D.M. continues to grow and diversify in to other industries, including food and agriculture.
